Got up early and got one shoulder exercise set done. I'm doubting I'll have a chance to do more later. Though I've been trying to think of other ways to stretch that might help when I can't do the exact exercises with the cane that I'm supposed to use. I haven't been outside yet this morning but the thermometer says that it is 52F out there. Wow. Once it goes below 0 in the season (it did) it changes your perception of the cold, and when you get above 32F (freezing) it feels "nice" out. Above 50 will be feeling balmy today ( Read more... )

Lately I've been seeing and hearing about lucets (knitting forks) a lot. I didn't know what they were or how they worked before. It is a thing that you can use to make cord. So of course now I want one and I want to try making some cord. I can imagine making cords to hang in the top of doorways, or across windows, necklaces, bracelets - add beads ( Read more... )

Dave and I went together to get our fasting bloodwork done this morning. Then we picked up breakfast from Mcd's and shopped at the mall.
